Was told it was water pump cavitation. Pipes cleared out, horrid water pump replaced, temp housing, coolant overflow and cap, and heater hose TB to temp replaced as well (plastic piece broke off around temp inlet). It might be a leak (bad water pump, cracked coolant outlet, cracked tank, leaking hose), or it might be going out the exhaust as white smoke (cracked head/head gasket).
