Only buy a Kar if you want a Kar, and place no value on performance. It is actually a sporterized version, but it appears that what they did to it was to remove the upper "hand guard" and chop the lower one down to the rear sight. With production numbers below 100,000 total in which there are 3 very interesting Variations. With one var. having the super hard to find right receiver S/147/G code location.
